Stenco was selected for the Nissan Stamping Plant Bay 8 Addition project. This critical building addition added 60,000 SF and a 150-foot-long stamping press pit to the Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant.

Project scope included:

  • Relocation of multiple utilities, including underground storm piping, fire lines, domestic water, natural gas and sanitary sewers
  • Rock blasting for utility excavation and relocation, digging up to 25 feet deep
  • Relocation of the main access ring road and a railroad
  • More than 3,100 CY of concrete for the foundations and press pit

Stenco was selected for this project due to their self perform capabilities and reputation for safe and quality work.
